Bismark/Manden Home Builders Association

What once used to be a sleepy part of the country has turned into a busy beehive of activity, thanks to the recent oil boom. New home construction is also part of the frenzy. The Bismarck/Manden Home Builders Association of North Dakota recently hosted their annual Parade of Homes. Thirty-seven beautiful homes, ranging from $199,900 to $649,900 were on parade. Adult attendance was just under 2,400. Visitors toured these homes from 9/25/2014 through 9/28/2014.
The Bismarck/Manden HBA used ParadeSmart to manage the app for their parade. This gave hundreds of parade visitors the convenience of maps & driving directions, information on homes, contact information for home builders, photos, notes, and more to enhance and improve their parade experience. This is the first year that the Bismarck/Manden HBA used any app, and it was a huge success.
Dot Frank, Executive Officer of Bismarck/Manden Home Builders Association of North Dakota, said about 700 people downloaded the app on both Android and iOS. Dot said app users had turn by turn driving directions, which they said were very helpful, because a lot of the sub-divisions are not fully developed. Builders liked the fact that app users were able to see more information about the builder, with contact details. Builders liked that they could place additional photos to the gallery for each home, and found that was enjoyed by Parade attendees. Dot also said app users can go back to their notes and still see details for each home, even after the Parade of Homes is over.
